AACD is a member of the National Association of Conservation Districts. NACD represents 3,000 conservation districts across the nation.

Kodiak Soil & Water Conservation District is one of 12 Soil & Water Conservation Districts in Alaska.  We are able to accomplish our missions through the help of partners in the federal, state and municipal governments, other associations, nonprofits, private organization and others.

The US Department of Agriculture is a primary partner.  This includes associations with USDA's Natural Resources Conservation Service and The Forest Service.
